1. Summary

GradeAtlas is designed so core grade calculations happen in your browser. You can use the calculator without creating an account, and the grades you enter are not sent to GradeAtlas servers by the calculator workflow.

2. Grade Data

Course names, grades, credits, semesters, and calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser for the calculator experience. If you export a report, that export is generated from your browser session.

3. Contact and Correction Data

If you email us or submit a correction request, we use the information you provide to review the request and respond. This may include your name, email address, message, institution details, and source links you choose to share.

4. Analytics and Cookies

GradeAtlas uses consent-based, first-party analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve the product. Analytics storage is denied by default and is only enabled after you accept analytics cookies. You can decline analytics cookies and continue using the core tools.

Visitor analytics are anonymous session-level records. We store safe event names, public page paths, broad device/browser family, referral or UTM source, and aggregate counters. We do not store IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, GPA values, transcript rows, calculator inputs, names, emails, or phone numbers in analytics events.

5. Technical Data

Like most websites, hosting, security, and browser infrastructure may process limited technical data such as device type, browser information, approximate region, pages requested, timestamps, and IP-derived network information.

6. What GradeAtlas Does Not Do

• We do not require an account for the core calculator.
• We do not sell your calculator inputs.
• We do not provide official credential evaluation decisions.
• We do not claim that planning estimates replace university or evaluator policies.
