Sources & Provenance
GradeAtlas is built on transparency. Below is the directory of public registers, national databases, and regulatory bodies we use to compile our grading databases.
Independent Publication
GradeAtlas is an independent research publisher. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any university, credential evaluation agency (such as WES, ECE, or Scholaro), or ministry of education. Mappings are compiled from publicly available handbooks, regulations, and calendars.
Global Credential Frameworks
Our calculations are benchmarked against the standard practices of leading international credential evaluation services and foreign education databases.
North America Registers
Official public institution lists and grading scales maintained by federal education databases.
United Kingdom & Europe Registers
University grade classification boundaries and degree structures from official national bodies.
Asia & Pacific Registers
Accreditation status, grading scale standards, and credit specifications.
Institutional Grade Reference Mappings
Individual university profiles on GradeAtlas link back dynamically to country grading standards or official registrar publications whenever conflicts are resolved. If you represent an academic institution and wish to verify, update, or claim an override on the default grading system configured for your university profile, please consult our Methodology Page or contact our technical support queue.
